National Novel Writing Month is upon us! For those of you who would like some more information: http://www.nanowrimo.org
Since Second Daughter has gotten so large, I have chosen to make it my project for this year’s NaNoWriMo. However, since I think it would be unfair to boast a 15,000 word head start, I will instead be re-writing the novel from scratch. The new text will feature some advantages (structurally) that I would simply be unable to do here.
This does not mean that the text on the blog is going away. It does mean that the story on the blog will be put on hold as I work through the novel in the month of November. However, since I will be churning out so much word count, and I think everyone who has enjoyed the novel thus far would enjoy more content, updates will be different.
Starting Tuesday, November 5th, 2013 and for the month of November 2013, I will be posting twice a week and each post will be approximately 1,000 words (double the current size). Each post will have the category of “NaNoWriMo2013” attached to it to make them easy to find later. (The original blog version will move to the “1st Draft” category.) It will start at the beginning with what I write on Nov. 1st, but may not be sequential sections of the text.
Enjoy, and best of luck to the other WriMos out there!
